Overall, this is a great instrument with a beautiful bright finish. It does have a few minor scratches that are hard to see in the photos. This horn has not been beat up like most of these out there. Adult owned and super clean! The YEP201 has nice warm tone and projects very well. Yamaha is a well known top brand in the band instrument world and is made with quality parts and workmanship. The Euphonium is complete and comes with a brand new 12C mouthpiece and factory molded hardshell case that is in excellent condition as well. After our service this euphonium plays perfect. The valves move with ease and all slides move freely. Looking for a 3 valve euphonium that needs nothing and is ready to play? Here it is!As a service center, we soak, sanitize and clean each instrument before shipping any instrument so it works perfectly and free from germs. After the cleaning, the valves are lubed and slides are greased so everything moves freely. Notice the picture where the slides show the clean tubing with fresh grease. Lastly the mouthpiece was also soaked and sanitized then placed in a zip lock baggie to also be free from germs when you receive the instrument.
