You’re plugged into 42 different amp possibilities – all from one amp head.TSC™ (TUBE SAFETY CONTROL) continuously adjusts the bias of TriAmp Mark 3’s power tubes to improve the amp’s tonal and technical stability and to extend the tubes’ lives. TSC operates automatically and continuously, so there is nothing for you to do but to enjoy the convenience of the system. You can swap tubes easily, quickly, and safely, because all the hard work of biasing gets done automatically for you. This can be a huge help if a tube runs into problems, or just if you fancy comparing different types or brands of tubes.The TSC™ System automatically and constantly biases tubes and keeps your amp in good health -- allowing you to combine 6L6s, EL34s, KT66s, KT77s, KT88s, 6550s, 5881s, 7581s and/or 6CA7s. If the tubes are replaced by a different type (e.g. EL34 by KT88), it is recommended you reset the TSC module.AWARD-WINNING RED BOX SPEAKER SIMULATIONThe Red Box AE is the latest version of the award-winning speaker simulator, and it features switchable Low-Cut filtering and a 2nd Cabinet Mode. The Hard/Soft knob on the amp’s rear panel controls the noise gate’s response. The further you twist thisknob to the right, the softer the noise gate’s response. The further you twist the knob to the left, the harder the noise gate kicks in and cuts off signals and unwanted noise.Tip: 12 0’clock is the universal noise gate setting.
