The enclosure is a repurposed vintage Philco tube radio from ~1937 (approx. 88 years old), so it naturally shows authentic vintage patina, wear, and finish character consistent with a nearly century-old cabinet. Nothing structural — just honest aging that gives it the aesthetic charm Square Amps is known for.This is a hand-built Square Amps creation from Austin, Texas, running a Supro-style circuit inside a beautifully preserved 1930s Philco radio cabinet. These amps are boutique, low-production, and highly sought after for their character, craftsmanship, and unique tone.The circuit delivers rich, vintage Supro-inspired breakup — touch-responsive, full of harmonics, and perfect for blues, roots, indie, and studio recording. The simple front-panel single knob acts as both power switch and volume control. On the back, there’s a negative feedback control to fine-tune feel and headroom.Internally, it features a 10 Watt circuit, 10" Weber ceramic speaker, known for its punchy mids and articulation.
