Roger Sadowsky is one of the greatest bass builders. He is also noted for his preamps, one of which is installed on Marcus Miller's personal Fender Jazz Bass.This is a gorgeous, great playing 4 string Sadowsky with the great Sadowsky preamp sound. You don't have to do any mods. The pickups and preamp are terrific sounding together, first class. There already is a high mass bridge.I would call this bass new except I changed the strings (still new DR strings), there's clip-on tuner, and installed Schaller Strap Locks. That is plastic still on the plate.The original list price on this bass was just under 2k.
