Rare Features! Fender Jazzmaster 1959 - Blonde

This is a Holy Grail guitar.. This is not only the earliest Blonde Fender Jazzmaster I’ve ever come across, but upon finding it, I realized there was something extremely unique about it that I have never seen before! The pick guard is a 10 screw hole Tortoise guard, every other one I’ve ever seen has 13 factory original screws. And the previous anodized gold guard, had 9.. So with that being said, and judging by the extremely figured neck, single piece ash body, and very early serial number, I truly believe this is the FIRST tort guard ever made. Most likely as a show guitar, which a few dealer friends have expressed to me. The quality of wood and the craftsmanship of this specific instrument is unlike any Fender guitar I’ve ever owned. For it to be a 1959 Blonde Jazzmaster, it’s just all around exceptional. Blonde was the only custom color offset that came equipped with an Ash body, all other sunbursts and custom colors came with alder! And for it to be such a translucent finish with a single piece body is rarely seen.. I really can’t describe enough just how beautiful and rare THIS guitar is.
