LUDWIG & LUDWIG New Standard Controlled Response snare drum

Here's one from my personal collection. I purchased this drum in this condition several years ago from a now deceased prominent drum collector. This is a true "Collector Grade" snare drum in almost pristine condition. In the 50 plus years of collecting, this is by far the finest example of this drum I've ever seen. LUDWIG & LUDWIG New Standard Controlled Response snare drum with Extension-Type Snare Strainer. In the 1940 and 1941 Ludwig & Ludwig catalog. 7"X14" White Avalon Pearl wrap in pristine condition. Natural yellowing shows it's age. Nickel plated hoops and lugs. All hardware is original to this drum. Original calf skin top head. This drum sound incredible. I played this drum with a Remo coated ambassador on the batter head in the studio. Incredible tuning range on this drum.
