Blackguard Fender Telecaster-Style Build – Premium Components, Vintage AccuracyUp for sale is a meticulously crafted Blackguard-style Telecaster built from top-tier parts and assembled with an eye for true vintage authenticity. This guitar combines the best of classic 1950–52 Tele specs with modern playability and exceptional tone.  I assembled this guitar over many years, starting in the early 90’s, when I acquired the neck.  It has been in my closet in the case for the past 10 years or so.  I’m into Bluegrass now and need to fund the purchase of a high-end banjo.  This is not a genuine Fender guitar, nor is it being represented as such.   It is my homage to the blackguard era Telecasters, assembled by myself.Key Features:Lindy Fralin Pickups – Boutique, hand-wound, and voiced for rich, dynamic Tele tones with exceptional clarity and punch.  They were wound and installed by Lindy himself in his Richmond VA Shop around 1999 or so. I’m from Richmond, and was there when he put them in.  Lindy is the best.  This Tele will twang, growl, and snarl with the best of them.1982 Tokai Breezysound Neck – A legendary neck from Tokai’s golden era, known for its superb craftsmanship and vintage-correct feel. Smooth, stable, and incredibly comfortable.  It had jumbo frets on it when I acquired it around 1993.   It has years of honest to God real fingerboard wear, no fake looking relicy stuff.  Soft V shape.Historically Accurate Details – Period-correct hardware, slot-head screws, proper bridge dimensions, and traditional Telecaster appointments throughout.  All Fender American parts.  CRL switch and CTS pots.  Milled jack cup, with Switchcraft jack.Cloth-Wrapped Wiring – True to early 1950s Fender wiring for durability, authenticity, and superior signal integrity.Thin Nitrocellulose Finish by Mark Jenny (MJT) – Ash body with expertly aged nitro finish with spectacular lacquer checking that captures the look and resonance of a well-loved Blackguard. Resonant, lightweight, and visually stunning.  The guitar was rebodied with this MJT masterpiece about 10 years ago.Fat Frets – Upgraded for enhanced playability, sustain, and reliability without sacrificing the guitar’s vintage vibe.
