Furman

Furman PQ3

$600.00

I originally bought this from a Pantera fan in damaged condition; at some point the rightmost knob had gotten smashed off. I went and replaced the potentiometer and knob, and it works perfectly now. I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I do, I can now see why there's so much hype. It even clips nicely when you push it. I heard these things had a reputation for being noisy, but I was pleasantly surprised at the noise floor. Maybe it's because this is one of the 90s reissues. NE5532 chips inside, which I don't figure the original 70s models had.It is missing a screw on the top back of the chassis. Something you could probably replace easily if you cared, but it has no functional consequence.
