FENDER MUSTANG PLAYER II

Up for your consideration is the Fender Mustang Player Series II. I've had this guitar for less than a year. I did do upgrades to this guitar which includes shielding the cavity with copper tape to reduce interference. The most significant upgrade has been the bridge pickup. As you can see I placed a Seymour Duncan Lil 59 in place of the standard single coil pickup. Because of this, the tone pot is a CTS push/pull pot. When it is in neutral position the pick up is a single coil, however when you pull up on the CTS pot, it becomes a Humbucker thus giving you extra gain for solid rock tones. The output jack has been switched out with a more robust puretone jack as well. Locking tuners have replaced the originals for better intonation. Locking strap locks are also included. Lastly the bridge saddles have been switched out to more substantial individual saddles.This has only lived it's life in my smoke free home studio.
