The Clean Lines Telly from Les Brers Guitars. A sleek, striped body of four woods--walnut, wenge, curly maple and ash--along with the custom fabricated B/W/B purfling inside vintage cream binding, makes this guitar a real looker. It also plays well and sounds classic "TL". As to component parts, the Clean Lines has Grover tuners, Wilkinson vintage Tele pickups, the industry leading PureTone output jack, Alpha pots, Kaish switch, our usual guide hole physics neck attachment, and a clear pickguard that protects AND shows the full beauty of the woods.The neck is maple with a rosewood fretboard. The neck is finished in our proprietary, 20-step, hand-rubbed neck finishing process which not only protects, but is sleek and handles well too.Nut slots have been set to .0025" or less for comfy playing. We set it up with our usual 10-46 D'Addario strings. Given the woods used, this one comes in at a slightly heavier weight than some, at 8 lbs.
