Alvarez
Alvarez DY75 1985 - Natural
$999.99Â
This guitar is in overall very good condition and appears to be all original. Includes original Alvarez case. The neck is straight, the bridge is secure to the body with no lifting, the neck joint is solid, the truss rod works. Action at the 12th fret is .09 on the low E, and .08 on the high E. The guitar plays well and sounds great. There is a little buzz when the low E string is played open. The nut slot may need to be filled slightly or replaced as it is a very low nut. No buzzing on any fretted notes. The original saddle has a crack in the middle and is in 2 pieces but is stable, but it will need a new saddle at some point. The bridge has a minor split between the bridge pins but is extremely stable. It is not deep and only on the surface of the bridge. It looks worse than it is. There are a few small dings on the front of the body and a small area of scratches on the back. There are a few small nicks on the back of the neck. The frets show some wear and the fretboard has a little wear on the first 3 frets.Spruce top, Rosewood back and sides, Ebony Fingerboard, Mahogany neck, Rosewood bridge. Binding is wood, looks like spruce or maple.I tried to give a 100% accurate description of this guitar in full disclosure. This is a phenomenal Japanese built guitar with very high quality tone woods and is a great example of the DY75 from this time period.
