The Loar 2013 LH350 archtop

The Loar began when former Gibson employees decided to recreate the models that Gibson no longer manufactures. They make wonderful instruments that bring back a bygone era of jazz, blues and other classic designs. This instrument is modeled after early L5 Gibsons, designed by Lloyd Loar (from whom the company took its name). With vintage tuners, a resonant arch top, a floating bridge and trapeze tailpiece, in a beautiful, deep, sunburst finish. Comes with a deluxe, hard shell case, and I’ve strung it with premium flatwounds, to get that classic jazz sound.
