She features a specially designed control center with volume, tone, and blend pots riding heard over the Humbucker and Seymour Duncan pickups. The blend control adds nearly limitless tone choices. When it is potted fully counterclockwise, the heavy-duty Oak Grigsby 5-way switch functions normally. But in switch positions 1, 2, 4 & 5, as you crank the control clockwise the neck or bridge pickup is gradually ‘blended’ into the mix. The push-pull tone switch subtly contours the tone for even more tonal choices. And for that true vintage Strat sound, use the push-pull volume and blend controls to place the neck and bridge pickups into coil splitting mode. But Kendra’s quality and features don’t stop there. Her custom cut neck is smooth, fast maple with a fast action rosewood fretboard. Slinky D’Addario 10s strings are anchored to a Vintage Standard Series Fender bridge with a hefty, weighted tremolo block. At the other end, locking tuners and a roller string guide let you bend notes all night while staying in perfect tune. Kendra is the do-it-all Strat of your dreams.
