G&L ASAT Classic 1990s - Cherryburst

1990s USA G&L ASAT Classic in beautiful Cherryburst finish over straight grained alder body.This is the earlier three bolt neck model made in the Fullerton, CA factory, when there was still a lot of hands-on craftsmanship happening.Aside from some minor body wear and a few light dings, the guitar is in excellent cosmetic shape. 100% functional, everything works as it should.Weight is 8.4lbs on my home digital scale. Maple board neck is a very comfortable "C" profile, fills the hand nicely. Original Sperzel locking tuners. No discernable fret wear.Recently gave it a through cleaning and polishing, restrung and setup with 11s. Plays great, sounds great.This guitar was sold to the previous owner as an all original 1992 model by a shop in the Midwest. However, when I disassembled it (as I do all guitars I purchase) I discovered the neck dates from 1995. So somewhere along the way the original neck was replaced (at the factory perhaps?). The body, hardware and electronics are all original to a '92 ASAT Classic.
