1996 Fender USA Strat Plus

1996 Fender Strat Plus  excellent condition Fender lace sensor pickups (red - silver - silver), tone shaping adjustment, roller nut (shimmable), locking tuners, fender strap lock buttons. Comes with original white perloid pick guard and hard shell Fender case. No real wear on it but a few small scratches. Plays and sounds super nice !!Strat Plus Series was introduced by Fender in 1987 and was the highest end production model next to Fender's Custom Shop guitars. Production was stopped in July of 1998. The Strat Plus concept was originally intended to be an artist model for Jeff Beck. In 1986, Jeff wanted a Strat for an upcoming tour. As the story goes, Jeff opted not to have an artist model at that time, but Fender ran with the idea anyway
