1992 G&L Commemorative ASAT Classic

Upon purchasing this ASAT, I could only sit and admire the level of fine American craftsmanship that went into building it. This is one solid guitar and it plays and sounds like Sylvester Stallone at the end of that Rocky movie where he's yelling "Adrian." That scene always makes me tear up a little. But, the right note hit on this guitar can elicit the same response, if you know what I mean.This ASAT is in collector quality condition and while I don't have the tags and warranty card, I do have the certificate and we all know what it means when you hear, "No cert, no shoes, no dice." The original gold strings were still on the guitar when we acquired it and I had to remove them so the guitar could be set up. That said, I did manage to save them and they are included with the package. Now the really strange part...What I thought were super light scratches on the gold pickguard are actually NASCAR legend Harry Gant's signature. You'll really have to look to see it, but it says "Harry Gant #33." Now I don't know if Mr. Gant owned, played or just signed this guitar, but his autograph adds just a bit of spice to the instrument, especially of you're a fan of his. The guitar overall is exceptionally clean and looks to be virtually unplayed. Also, check out the low serial number.We've cleaned and detailed both the case and guitar, with the guitar getting a fresh set of strings and a full set up.
