1981 Robert Ruck concert classical guitar SP/BRW

a wonderful sounding guitar (#249) from Robert Ruck. beautiful spruce top, rosewood back and sides, French Polish, double sides (rosewood, spruce), and I think, some kind of fan bracing. it has beautiful, rich, full and projecting tone and excellent voice and sustain throughout the full range and sparkling harmonics. like a number of his instruments, it is slightly scaled up (54mm nut width, 660mm scale) and has the big tone one would expect from this design. I feel like the guitar still plays well but does have slightly high action, not so high that intonation is impacted, but it isn't buttery as they say. I think it is working its way towards needing a neck reset and I will either eventually bring it to a classical luthier for this, or let the next owner decide whether or not to proceed with this procedure for they would like to proceed. comes with a very good hiscox hardshell case. I have kept it in my humidity controlled acoustic instrument room since I have owned the instrument. please let me know what questions you have and thank you for looking. one little mark below the treble side of the rosette near the bridge and one string bite from the 2nd string. otherwise nearly perfect condition.I'm going to grad school, changing careers from being a musician and manager at a guitar store to going into social work. I'm selling a lot of the instruments I thought I never would sell.
