$1,200.00
1962 Goya F-19 Grand Concert Acoustic Guitar – Made in Sweden (Very Rare)This is a beautiful 1962 Goya F-19, built in Sweden by Levin during Goya’s golden era. The F-19 features a Grand Concert-sized, non-cutaway body with a solid European spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a mahogany neck. The Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, along with bone nut and saddle, add to its warmth and resonance. It has 8-ply binding on the top and single-ply binding on the back, with a natural finish that has aged beautifully. The top lacquer shows light vintage crazing, and there’s minor pick/nail wear near the high E string — honest signs of use for a 60+ year-old guitar.Internally, the F-19 uses a light ladder-style bracing pattern with a subtle diagonal tone bar, a hallmark of Levin’s craftsmanship from this era. This design gives the guitar its clear, articulate voice, with bright trebles, balanced mids, and a warm, focused low end — excellent for fingerstyle or light strumming. It’s currently set up with Martin Silk & Steel strings, which complement the guitar’s lighter top bracing and vintage build perfectly. Original nickel-plated strip tuners function smoothly, and the non-adjustable T-shaped duraluminum truss rod keeps the neck stable.Includes the original vintage hard shell case (handle is detached but included in the compartment).
