15x5 Vintage Cherry Semi-solid shell snare drum by Erie Drums

15x5 Vintage Cherry 2 ply semi solid steambent snare drum, hand made in summit county Ohio by Erie drums and shells. It has a 1/4" thick shell, it is made from 2 plies of steam bent Cherry that was milled 50 years ago that we dug out of a barn. Vintage woods may show worm holes or other signs of age, mainly on the inside or other areas not generally seen. Our brand new 2 ply design gives you all the purity of tone of our solid steambent shells, but without the reinforcement rings. This helps the tone relax and expands the range in mid to low tunings and adds openness to the tone. It has our renowned hand rounded 45 degrees edges, 8 tube lugs, premium 2 position strainer, 20 stand wires, Gloss laquer finish, evans heads, and 2.3mm triple flanged hoops.
