14x5 2 ply semi solid Sycamore steambent snare drum, hand made in summit county Ohio by Erie drums and shells. It has a 1/4" thick shell. Our brand new 2 ply design gives you all the purity of tone of our solid steambent shells, but without the reinforcement rings. This helps the tone relax and expands the range in mid to low tunings and adds openness to the tone. It has our renowned hand rounded 45 degrees edges, 8 tube lugs, premium 2 position strainer, 20 stand wires, Gloss laquer finish, evans heads, and 2.3mm triple flanged hoops.
