13x6 Jatoba on the outside, Oak on the inside, 2 ply semi solid steambent Exotic snare drum, hand made in summit county Ohio by Erie drums and shells. It has a 1/4" thick shell, it is made from 2 plies of 1/8" hand selected hardwoods. This is our new all natural oil finish. same great tone and natural look, just a little glossier .Our new 2 ply design gives you all the purity of tone of our solid steambent shells, but without the reinforcement rings. This helps the tone relax and expands the range in mid to low tunings and adds openness to the tone. It has our renowned hand rounded 45 degrees edges, 8 lugs, Gibraltar style strainer, 20 stand wires, 1.6mm triple flanged hoops and Evans heads. It is signed and dated.
