1970s MIJ Carlo Robelli Gibson L6 Copy

This is an awesome, if less well known, Japanese copy of a Gibson L6S. I received this guitar as a husk and built it back up to be a rock/metal/doom machine. It’s from the 70s, so there is plenty of bumps, scrapes, and wear. The biggest scrape is pictured. It has two large finish cracks where the fretboard meets the neck. They are stable. It is wired with a three way switch and the pickups are a set of Lollar DBs. Tuners were replaced at some point with a set of Schallers. I also replaced the nut with a TUSQ XL and it’s had recent fret work.
